Agreed, I started to make a witty riposte plus regurgitate my 288B/805 HF experience and the way I resolved it when you had just posted your thoughts since this is a subject that is part n' parcel to any discussion where someone claims they want the 'best' practical sound reproduction; but as has become the norm for me, got sidetracked/busy with my so called life and for once glad I did because if yours was delivered in a stinky wrapper, mine would probably been perceived as being presented buried in a truckload of dead babies.

Guess yours and mine's Wayne's World' brand of sense of humor is a bit too wacky/'tongue in cheek' around here these days.

This does seem to be a "grumpy old man" forum. But it's not the only one.

GM, I've got you by about 10 years on forums and have also seen plenty. There seems be those who can give advice well, and those who can't. It's not the advice itself, it's the more the tone or how it's stated. And not one remark here or there, but a style or history of posts. This is true an any and all forums. I have not seen the economy influence that, but maybe I wasn't looking for it.

Forums are not face to face meetings, in case someone had not noticed, so it can be difficult to interpret what is said and meant. Surely you guys know this by now. Some of you may be autistic, but certainty not all.

A little diplomacy and forethought can go a long way, that's all I'm saying.

    OK, back to speakers.

You'll need it. The above was obviously a joke. It even had a winky.

FWIW, I use e-snips and rapidshare for free on-line file sharing.

Bummer, I've never had any problems with either of these or any other problems that I thought might be associated with them.

Re: "Crossover Design for New Project"

Well here are some of the measurements that I have taken. With (Pano)'s unwavering Assistance.:thankU: Michael. That went quite smooth I must say. I have to make 2 posts as I can only upload 5 files at a time.(Hostboard Rules) Why do these graph's get so darn small before posting them they are quite large and easy to read.I posted them over at LH for Earl K and they are much larger and easier to read.

    Attached Files are the 416-8B's
